Walker with Lift-Assisting Seat Assembly

Ambulatory assist devices, such as walkers, typically reduce stress and strain on the musculoskeletal system, allowing the user to move about with greater ease. However, current ambulatory assisting devices fail to provide assistance for a relatively common bodily motion: transitioning from a sitting position to a standing position. This invention is directed to a walker device that provides support and assistance to seniors and rehabilitation patients.
